Exterior Drainage Holes
Garden planters and urns which are intended to be used outdoors and through the winter months must have a drainage hole(s) in the base to allow for proper drainage. Holes may be made with a normal household drill using a 1-2" wood drill bit.
For some DURACRAFT Urns, the drainage hole should be drilled first through the center core on the inside of the Urn. Once completed, flip the Urn over and drill a couple of holes through the thin fiberglass membrane covering the center core.
